How we collect, use and look after your personal information.
Bricks and Mortar Search Limited (trading as Bricks and Mortar Search, “BAMS”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Company number 13096608. Registered office: 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZA842048.
When you use a form on this website we collect the details you give us: your name, email address or phone number, the type of enquiry, any company or agency name, and your message. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to register a brief or an introduction, and to take steps you ask for before entering into an agreement with us. Where we work with you on a transaction, we also use it to meet our legal obligations, including anti-money laundering checks. We will only send you marketing, such as our off-market list, if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your information or pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We use trusted service providers to run this website and our systems — for hosting (Vercel), our secure database (Supabase) and sending email (Resend) — who process data on our behalf and under our instructions. We may share information where the law requires it.
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any resulting transaction, and for as long as the law requires — for example, anti-money laundering regulations require certain records to be kept for five years.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent to marketing. To do so, email kash.jamal@bricksandmortarsearch.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
